Floyd W. Roberts began his career with the Jackson Police Department in April 1944 when he was hired as a police officer.  Roberts seperated from service on August 1, 1947 and returned to service on March 1, 1948.  

Officer Floyd Roberts retired in September 1961 after serving 17 years with the Jackson Police Department.
