Jerry Lee Johnson began his career with the Jackson Police Department on January 16, 1956. and gave 26 years of dedicated service.  He was a graduate of the Tennessee Law Enforcement Training Academy and the FBI Training School.  He had great markmanship skills, consisting scoring in the high 90's during firearms training.  Mr. Johnson received several letters of commendation from his superiors.

Captain Johnson retired from the Police Department on February 1, 1982 to pursue another career.
