W. W. Cole was hired with the Jackson Police Department on September 1, 1938.  He became a Captain of Detectives. W.W. Cole worked at the Jackson Police Department until he retired on September 1, 1967. Mr. Cole received several letters of appreciation and commendation for his service to the community.
