Stephen Floyd Pope began his law enforcement career on June 20, 2005. He graduated from TLETA on August 6, 2013 and began serving in the Patrol Division. He was promoted to Investigator on January 26, 2008 by Chief Richard Staples and transferred to the Criminal Investigation Division. Investigator Pope served his country in the Army, where he received is GED. Following his honorable discharge, he attended Memphis State University (now known as the University of Memphis). He was awarded the distinction of Employee of the Month in October 2011 and has received several letters of commendations from his supervisors and citizens of Jackson.
