Deborah S. Stanfill began her service to the citizens of the City of Jackson on July 2, 1986 and was assigned to the Patrol Division.  As a patrol officer she worked on the streets answering calls for police service for nearly six years.  Recieving several letters of commendation and a Certificate of Merit in August of 1989.  

In June of 1992, Deborah was transferred to the Criminal investigation Division where she worked as an Investigator for nearly twenty years.  During this time she was recognized by being selected as Employee of the Month in March of 1993 and again in July of 2011.  

Deborah Stanfill worked investigating various types of crimes.  Whe the department started to operate a Domestic Violence Unit, it was Deborah Stanfill who was tasked with starting the unit.  In September 2012, Deborah S. Stanfill was promoted to the rank of sergeant and was assigend to supervise the Domestic Violence Unit.  This unit as well as the service of Deborah S. Stanfill still have a positive impact on the community.
