Thomas A. Mclean began his thirty-four years and twenty-six days of service to the City of Jackson on May 5, 1980.  He Served in several assignments during his career.  He began as a Patrol Officer working the streets answering call for police service.  He was for a time a motor officer and on September 20, 1989 he began to serve as a park officer.  During that assign,ent he often rode a motorcross motorcycle to patrol the parks.

In 2000 he transferred to the Court and Warrants Division, and served there as an officer.  On October 1, 2003 Officer Mclean was selected by his peers as Employee of the Month.  Then On May 15, 2008, Officer Mclean was promoted to the rank of Sergeant and then he bagan serving as the Court and Warrants supervisor.  

Sergeant Thomas A. Mclean's service to the citizens of Jackson spanned nearly three and half decades and was meritorious.
