Marye Anne Lane was hired on May 5, 1986 as a Traffic Fines Clerk for Central Records Division with the Jackson Police Department.  She then became a Clerk within Central Records as of July 1, 1990.  Marye Anne Lane continued to progress and three years later she was promoted to Senior Data Entry Operator as of January 20, 1993.

After eight years of service to the Jackson Police Department, Marye Anne Lane retired on May 27, 1994.   During her employment, she was given a Letter of Appreciation for her volunteer work done on behalf of the Leukemia Society.
