Jesse L. Scott was employed with the Jackson Police Department on September 6, 1960. Jesse Scott started his career with the Jackson Police Department as a patrolman assigned to the Patrol Division. 

Then on March 1, 1969 Officer Scott was promoted to the rank of Sergeant.  He continued working in the Patrol Division until sometime between September 6, 1975 and November 1, 1976 when he was transferred to Booking as the Booking Sergeant.  During his career Sgt. Jesse Scott received letters of appreciation and  commendation for his service to the community.  

Sergeant Jesse Lee Scott retired from the Jackson Police Department after (18) eighteen years of service with the department.
