Millard Herron was hired by the Jackson Police Department in 1988.  He worked as a Custodial Engineer.
During his time at the Jackson Police Department Millard Herron was awarded Employee of the Month June 01, 1991 and April 01, 1998. Mr. Herron attended and was certified a Community Oriented Police Training Phase I Course and the Defensive Driving Course.
He was a Jackson, TN native. Mr. Herron attended school in Lexington, TN. He was member of Macedonia Baptist Church where he served on the Deacon Board.  Millard Herron retired from the Jackson Police Department August 16, 2002.
