Officer Kenneth Michael Stanfill began his career with the Jackson Police Department on October 1, 1979. He was hired as a Patrol Officer assigned to the Patrol Division serving all of his time in the East Jackson Community. During his career, Officer Stanfill was awarded Employee of the Month in July 1996 and again in November 1999. Officer Stanfill received numerous letters of appreciation and commendation for his service to the community.

Officer Kenneth Michael Stanfill retired from the Jackson Police Department on June 30, 2011 after serving almost 32 years with the department.
