Ms. Joyce D'Anca started working part time at the Jackson Police Department under the Work Study Program for West TN Business College in February 1991. Ms. D'Anca was then hired full time on November  18, 1991 as a Junior Clerk. On July 6, 1994 Ms. D'Anca was was upgraded to a Senior Fines Clerk.

Ms. Joyce D'anca Whitman retired from the Jackson Police Department on January 12, 2008 after over 16 years of service with the department.
